-      With a live lobster! It should still be alive within a matter of minutes prior to cooking unless it has been previously frozen.

-      From a scientific standpoint, the muscles toughen with the shock of hitting the boiling water gives more chewing for the diner.

#3 How to humanely kill a lobster?

-      There are several ways to kill lobster humanely. Putting the lobster in the freezer an hour before cooking, plunge the tip of a sharp knife straight down right behind the lobster's eyes and or place the lobster in a large pot in the sink. Begin filling with cold tap water and gradually increase the heat factor of the tap water until it is hot.

-      Lobster has been proven to be good for your health. Lobster contains less saturated fats, calories and cholesterol than beef, pork loin and white chicken meat. Also, Omega-3 fatty acids from fish and shellfish improve heart health.
