Gobal warming affect lobster ?

1 Does global warming affect lobster's habits ?
Lobsters are cold blooded, their body temperatures determined by the water where they live. global case the cold blooded animals to use more energy for respiration, leaving less energy for feeding, growth, energy storage,
As ocean temperature fluctuate, so do the lobsters' habits. Lobsters can respond to temperature changes by changing their habitat. For example, lobsters are likely to move toward higher latitudes or to areas cooled by tidal  mixing. In new Enland, for example, such populations will move north toward he bay of Fundy.
Warming temperatures increase the lobster's respiration rate and oxygen needs while reducing the amount of dissolved oxygen available. Research has found that as water temperature rise above 69 degrees F, lobsters' respiration rate increase to a point where their demand for oxygen exceeds the supply, causing physiological stress

2 Global warming affect on lobster's health ?

Lobsters are influenced by the temperature and the chemical composition of the ocean water. The calcium carbonate in the ocean is extracted to allow them to build their shells. So if that compound is reduced in concentration, it will stress the animal and hurt its longevity. Warm water can also disrupt the food source for larval lobsters which could reduce their numbers. Warmer water could also increase the likelihood of diseases in lobsters.
Scientists have also seen evidence linking rising seawater temperatures to the spread of lobster shell disease in Massachusetts's water. Caused by a bacterial infection in the carapace, lobster shell disease has become dramatically more common in recent years. A new type of shell disease was observed in New England in he late 1990s, This is strongly related to the number of days during which water temperatures exceed 68 degrees F.

3 How global warming affect the lobster population ?
One recent development had been an increase in the number of lobster in Maine. This may also be due to the global warming, So the ocean warming, as it may be that warm waters cuz a longer growing season, there are more rapid growth, cause lobsters to hatch earlier and provide better conditions fot larval lobsters, Another reason is global warming course the ove-fishing have depleted the stocks of cod, and a species that preys on lobsters.
